Jingyi Zhu, an undergraduate student at ECUST, and her teammate Mengqi Li claimed gold in the recurve mixed team archery event at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026. The Chinese pair beat India 5-3 in the final, securing not only the gold medal but also a quota place for the LA 2028 Olympics.

Recently, the Student Affairs Office at ECUST organized student coordinators from the university’s work-study program to visit the 48th WorldSkills Competition at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Recently, the 2025 List of World’s Leading Science and Technology Journals was officially released at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Pujiang Innovation Forum. Bioresources and Bioprocessing (BIOB), an academic journal sponsored by ECUST, was selected for the list. The selection recognizes the journal’s academic quality, international influence and editorial and publishing quality, marking another achievement in ECUST’s efforts to develop high-quality international academic journals.

Recently, a forum themed “Insights into Global Opportunities and Overseas Market Expansion” was held at the Li Shijin Lecture Hall in the Advanced Materials Building at ECUST. Nearly 100 industry experts and representatives from university alumni associations and chambers of commerce attended the event. Haifeng Yan, Vice President of ECUST, attended the forum and delivered a speech.

Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the winners of the Second National Textbook Construction Award. Chemical Reaction Engineering (6th Edition), edited by Professor Bingchen Zhu and Professor Tao Li from ECUST, received the Second Prize for Outstanding Teaching Materials (Higher Education).

Recently, the 2025 World-Class Scientific and Technological Journal Catalogue was officially released at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Pujiang Innovation Forum. Bioresources and Bioprocessing (BIOB), an academic journal published by ECUST, was listed in the Catalogue. The recognition further acknowledges the journal’s academic quality, international influence, and publishing standards, and marks another achievement in ECUST’s efforts to develop high-level international academic journals.
